Katie Goffman is a New York City based actress dedicated to spreading JOY. Katie fell in love with theatre performing with her Mom and brother, Robert Postotnik in Milwaukee, WI. She would never have been cast as a child without her Mother’s Italian persistence that, “our family comes as a package!” That shy little girl continues to be grateful to live in her superstar brother’s shadow. Katie has grown her own star over the years. You may have seen her Off-Broadway as the standby for Cher Horowitz in the world premiere of CLUELESS, THE MUSICAL with The New Group. She was thrilled to perform as Cher for large portion of the run. Katie has been seen performing across the country as the title role of Molly Jensen in the 1st National Tour of GHOST the Musical, as well as the National Tour of ROCK OF AGES, playing Regina, and performing as Mary Delgao/dance captain in JERSEY BOYS with her husband Devon Goffman. Katie spent the past 2 summers at VA Rep Theatre performing as Doralee Rhodes in 9 to 5 and Cynthia Weil in BEAUTIFUL. Katie was awarded BroadwayWorld’s BEST ACTRESS MADISON for her portrayal of Natalie in ALL SHOOK UP at the Fireside Theatre. A favorite role she has had the pleasure of performing several times.

Because she’s a hustler, Katie enjoys wearing many hats! Besides acting, she is a writer, director/choreographer, producer, video editor, and she a wiz with spreadsheets! Katie and her husband Devon Goffman, own a production company, GOFFMAN ENTERTAINMENT. In December 2024, the couple released a holiday single “Does He Even Know It’s Almost Christmas,” sung by Katie.

Post pandemic, Katie had to amazing opportunity to set the choreography/transitions for the 2021-2022 touring production of JERSEY BOYS! She is no stranger to directing/choreographing after from college and her web series. In 2023, she was the assistant director/choreographer for two different productions of JERSEY BOYS at Music Theatre of Connecticut and the Broadway Palm Dinner Theatre. Katie also has directed several short films, and comedy videos.

In 2024, Katie began writing the book for a new musical, TINSELED! Music & Lyrics by Anderson & Petty. Stay tuned for more on TINSELED! in the upcoming year! Katie and her brother have been obsessed Muppet fans from an early age, so she was thrilled to help bring to life a new puppet video from SockzStudio “Games God Play,” produced by Red Tower Books.
